Care
- Unpack and wait — your Akti travels compressed to keep postage light. Leave it somewhere airy for a day or two and it will fill out on its own.
- First-day folds — soft creases from the box are part of the journey. A bit of use and a warm room smooth them away.
- Between washes — brush off grit, then wipe with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild soap. Fresh water from the hose is usually all it needs.
- Wash day — undo the metal zip, lift the cover away, close the zip again and wash it gently by hand in cool water.
- Skip the harsh stuff — no bleach, no tumble dryer, no dry cleaning. Lay the cover flat and let it dry thoroughly before zipping it back on.
- Keep heat well clear — irons, steamers and heaters are too much for the outdoor fabric.
- Off-season — store the Akti somewhere cool and dry, out of the sun, once the foam is completely dry.
- A little attention and dry storage keep your Akti looking fresh summer after summer.
